Welcome!
What an exciting time for us here at Holy Trinity Parish.  The new Father Quigley Faith Formation Center just opened and is now fully operational.  A sneak preview of the facility is availble by clicking on this link. After the new Adoration Chapel addition is completed in the summer of 2008, we are hopeful to make necessary additions to our school.  To view preliminary plans for our school addition, click on this link.

If you are new to our parish and are visiting this site for the first time, I welcome you and I am confident that you will find it helpful. It lists the various parish ministries, organizations, offices, and services of Holy Trinity. If you are a registered parishioner, this website will help you see the totality of our parish and its related ministries and give you contact numbers for you to share your time and talents.

Our parish grew from a small rural parish, established in 1880 to one of the larger Johnson County Parishes. But our purpose is always the same: Bring the love of Jesus Christ to all whom we touch by our lives.  We are a part of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas and our Bishop is Archbishop Joseph F. Naumann.

Our Mission Statement below expresses our purpose as a Catholic Parish.  God Bless you.

Our Mission Statement

The mission of Holy Trinity Church is to build up a faith community that, through Christian stewardship, will enable us to fulfill Our Lord's original commission to "go forth and make disciples of all nations"

To carry out this commission given to us by Jesus, it is essential to work toward the following:

1. Evangelize ourselves by means of a continuing conversion or renewal of our baptismal promises, thus deepening our personal relationship with Jesus.
2. Evangelize other members of our parish by the building up of a true Christ-centered environment, a community in which all our needs as Christians can be met. Our emphasis should be sacramental and family-focused, involving each and every member of our households, including traditional and nontraditional families.
3.  Identify, pray for, show by example, invite and take other active measures to bring those outside our community to Jesus.

The staff of Holy Trinity pledges itself to continue to offer all of its members the spiritual opportunities to carry out the mission of the Church.
