Confirmation is a Catholic sacrament of mature Christian commitment and a deepening of baptismal gifts. Like Baptism and Eucharist, it is a Sacrament of Initiation for Catholics and a Sacrament of faith in God's fidelity to us.
The Archdiocese of Kansas City recommends that youth in the eighth grade be prepared for reception of this sacrament. We take our preparation time seriously and have certain requirements that must be met in order for the reception of this sacrament to happen.
