2021 Lenten Appeal
HT FAM is a new ministry at Holy Trinity, in cooperation with the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas.
Support of this ministry is the focus of Holy Trinity Parish's
2021 Lenten Appeal
Caring for the orphan is a demand from the Gospel. We must open our hearts to these vulnerable children as OUR children. Our parish can live the corporal works of mercy through foster care - "feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, shelter the homeless ... give alms to the poor" - by raising up more foster families and increasing our support to them. Even if you are not able to foster at this time, there are many other ways to help!
Holy Trinity's CarePortal is an online platform that connects material needs of foster families such as diapers, formula, clothing, beds, etc., to parishes to supply and deliver. To support this effort scan the QR code below.
Join us on Sunday, April 11th for Holy Trinity's Foster and Adopt Ministry HT FAM FAIR. Meet with parish and community experts representing the different opportunities of service which our Parish will engage. See QR Code below.

God our Father,
through the sacrifice of your loving Son, Jesus Christ,
you have given a home to us and all the forsaken.
Give us the eyes of Christ to see
the vulnerable children and families in our midst.
Give us hearts that break
for what breaks the heart of Jesus.
Encouraged by the example of St. Joseph,
foster father of the Lord,
enflame within us the compassion of the Holy Spirit
to make our homes and parishes
places of love,
support and protection
for children and the families who foster them.
