During the pandemic, an online VIRTUS training module was offered. However, classes will be returning to in-person. The last day to take the online VIRTUS training class is Sunday-September 18th.
Beginning on Monday-September 19th, all VIRTUS training sessions will be live sessions held at various
local parishes. Call Stan Nill (913-895-0605) for more information regarding future live VIRTUS training sessions.
Attached is the online registration for VIRTUS training. It is suggested that you not wait until September 18th to take the class. So, this is how it works:
1. Follow the attached instructions for registering by visiting www.virtusonline.org
2. When you take the actual training, make sure that you have allowed at least two hours to get through everything in one sitting.
3. You will first electronically run your own background check and you will then be asked to read and electronically sign off on the three required VIRTUS documents:
.
- Be ready with your social security number, driver’s license and three personal references.
- Do not use the back arrow or close your browser until you are finished.
- It is important that you use a computer as opposed to a tablet or smart phone.
Once you have completed the preliminary process (background check and documents) , move forward with your actual VIRTUS training.
